DualTicker Web is designed to keep your workspace on your device. It does not require an account or cloud synchronization.

What stays in your browser

Your Views, panel configuration, bookmarks, filters and accents, custom sources, settings, layout ratios, and appropriate feed cache are stored locally in your browser using browser storage.

Publisher requests

DualTicker normally asks publishers for feeds directly from your browser. When browser cross-origin rules prevent a readable response, DualTicker may use its same-origin stateless fetch relay to retrieve the requested feed resource. The relay does not maintain a DualTicker user profile or store your Views, bookmarks, filters, settings, or custom source library.

Article Browser always navigates to the publisher's own webpage. DualTicker does not proxy, extract, reconstruct, readability-transform, or republish publisher article pages. A small framing-policy check may be used to determine whether the publisher permits embedding; otherwise the publisher URL opens directly in the user's normal browser.

Third-party services

If you use YouTube, Twitch, or another third-party publisher, your browser connects to that provider and their own privacy terms may apply.

Anonymous operational visits

DualTicker may send a small first-party anonymous session event while the site is open so the owner can understand whether the product is being used and whether core workflows work well. This can include approximate session and foreground-engaged time, coarse country/city supplied by Cloudflare, coarse device class, browser versus installed-app mode, a coarse referral category, the current generic DualTicker surface, and aggregate counts for actions such as opening an article, using the embedded Article Browser, or handing a blocked publisher to the normal browser.

DualTicker does not send article titles or URLs, publisher domains, searches, Views, panel contents, filters, bookmarks, settings, custom-source URLs, HTML-panel contents, account identity, or raw IP addresses to this visit counter. Recent anonymous session records are bounded and retained for approximately 30 days; longer-term trends are aggregate counts. No advertising profile is created.

Analytics and tracking

DualTicker Web does not require advertising tracking, behavioral analytics, cloud synchronization, or a server-side user database to operate.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics ZIP exports are generated locally when you explicitly request one. They are not uploaded automatically.
